As the parent company of more than 2000 early education centers, Knowledge Universe understood that their allegiance with The Partnership for a Healthier America was an amazing opportunity to inspire healthy lifestyle choices for the families of over 120,000 children enrolled in their programs nationwide. The Grow Happy health initiative launched in 2014 and continues to this day.
I created the Grow Happy logo and compiled a brand library— a collection of images, typefaces, and colors that define and unify the Grow Happy message across its many parts.
The initiative quickly took shape as a web site, cooking videos, and printed materials distributed to all of KU's early education centers. I designed a printed goals tracker, recipe cards, several posters and a window cling. I may or may not have tested (and devoured) the recipe for Banana Caterpillars.
